THE ST BRIDGET AND ST CWYFAN CELL OF THE SOCIETY OF OUR LADY OF WALSINGHAM The St Bridget and St Cwyfan cell of the Society of Our Lady of Walsingham was formed in 2004 and we have 30 members. The purpose of the society is To deepen faith in the incarnation (i.e. That Jesus, God took flesh and become a human being) To Honour Mary for her part in this To bring more people to know and love Mary’s Shrine at Walsingham, England’s Nazareth To pray and work for the spread of the Christian Unity and for our own Parish To pray for the conversion of unbelievers and the unity of Christians What are Members asked to do? To be faithful members of the local Church To encourage pilgrimage to Walsingham and other holy places by their own example To pray for the work of the Shrine at Walsingham To pray and work for the spread of the Christian Faith, for Christian Unity, and for our own Paris To say the Angelus or one decade of the Rosary every day as a private devotion How often does the Cell meet? The Cell meets regularly where Mass is offered for the Shrine in Walsingham. The Mass is open to everyone We have an annual pilgrimage, which takes place in June of each year We also meet six times a year especially observing the Mary feast days You are very welcome to become a member of the Cell of Our Lady of Walsingham, if you would like to join please contact us on the email address at the bottom of this page

These are the dates for the next Services / meetings Monday 8th April 2024 at 12 noon - The Feast of the Annunciation Mass in All Saints, Gresford, followed by a cup of tea and meeting in the Church Hall, please bring a packed lunch.
